Stakeholders Engagement Session with International Financial Reporting for Non-Profit Organisation (IFR4NPO)

Thrilled to have hosted a dynamic Stakeholders Engagement Session alongside the International Financial Reporting for Non-Profit Organisation (IFR4NPO) on 16 January 2024.

At IGSC, we believe in the power of collaboration to drive positive change. Our recent session explored the critical juncture of governance and financial reporting in the non-profit sector, shedding light on the instrumental role these organizations play in fostering societal well-being.

Key takeaways included discussions on best practices for financial reporting in the non-profit space, emphasizing the importance of accurate and meaningful reporting to build trust with stakeholders and donors. The collaboration between IGSC and IFR4NPO showcased a commitment to advancing global standards and elevating the effectiveness of non-profit organizations in Malaysia.

A special highlight was the presence of the Technical Director at IFR4NPO, Karen Sanderson whose expertise added immense value to our dialogue.

Grateful for the opportunity to also engage with relevant authorities (Companies Commission Of Malaysia / Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM), BHEUU, ROS) and industry leaders to share perspectives, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue on governance and financial reporting. It’s through such collaborative efforts that we can collectively shape a more sustainable and responsible future for the non-profit sector. Looking forward to continued partnerships and making strides towards a more impactful and transparent nonprofit landscape.
