We are pleased to have collaborated with and been hosted by Yayasan Hasanah for the National Working Group held on 22 August 2024, in partnership with the International Financial Reporting for Non-Profit Organisations (IFR4NPO).
The event provided a platform for in-depth discussions on best practices for financial reporting within Malaysia’s non-profit sector. These conversations were enriched by the participation of esteemed authorities, whose insights were invaluable.
A particular highlight of the event was the presence of Karen Sanderson, Technical Director at IFR4NPO, and Samantha Musoke, Project Director. Their expertise significantly contributed to the quality of the discussions, offering deep and impactful perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with key authorities, including the Companies Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia, SSM) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia, SPRM), as well as with other authorities who are engaging their roles in non-profit sector. These collaborative efforts are essential as we collectively strive to shape a nourish sustainability and responsibility future for the non-profit sector.
